Subject: Nests

While out walking my property today, I found a nest that has been
constructed utilizing briars. Its very neat because the briars are not
pieces but 6 or 8 actual vines that have all been pulled together and woven
into the nest. These briars are still rooted in the ground and the upper
sections have obviously been moved over to the nest location. The nest is in
a small maple scrub about 6 ft. up.

Does anyone have any experience with nests that might know what kind of bird
does this?

Thanks,
John Champion
