If you haven't been keeping up, the five whooping cranes that survived the
winter in Florida (two of the seven led there by ultralight plane were
killed by bobcat) have made it back to Wisconsin. Four of them arrived
several days ago, but one separated early on the trip and made her own way,
just arriving there, I believe, yesterday. You can read up on their trip
north at operationmigration.org by choosing "Field Journal" on the wep page
menu....
