Despite the rainy, foggy, cool conditions, we had some heavy
warbler action this Saturday morning at home (which is on a
ridge about 4 miles from Sharp's Ridge). So we hit Sharp's Ridge
about 10:30 am expecting some good results. Man, did we ever. We
got wet, but it was worth well worth it.  We worked both sides
of the road on the west end half a mile stretch. Good looks were
seen of the following warblers, & others (many more heard incl.
Blackburnian & Am redstart):

Black-throated green: 17
Chestnut-sided: 11
Palm: 6
Canada: 2
Bay breasted: 1 ( a life bird for us both)
Black & white: 1
Yellow- rump: 40+
Baltimore oriole: 6 (4 seen in 1 tree: m & f adults, 2- 1yr.)
Scarlet tanager: 8 ( m & f, pair of males seen on 1 branch)
Rose-breasted grosbeak: 11 (pair of males seen again) 
Red-eyed vireo: 12 (usually w/ worms in their mouths)
White-eyed vireo: 4
Blue-headed vireo: 2
Ruby-crowned kinglet: 11
Indigo bunting: 2
Ruby-throated hummingbird: 1
Eastern wood peewee: 1
Red-breasted nuthatch: 1
Wood thrush: 1
Chimney swifts: 15
Red-tailed hawk: 1
Catbird: 2
Usuals : cardinal, titmouse, c. chickadee, crow, e. towhee,  b.
thrasher,  mockingbird,  white throated sparrows, etc.
