Birders,
I have six to seven Chipping Sparows in my yard at the moment. They have been
here for a week and the number varries somewhat. I have had a few before but
not this many or this long. They happily feed on the feeders and under them.
During the heavy rains, they stayed on the covered patio eating whatever fell
out of the patio feeders.
Yesterday, I had a fly-over by a Ring-billed Gull. Guess he was confused by
all the high water including mine. I have seen them fly over in previous
years-good yard bird!
