TOS members are invited to attend the closing ceremony of the Chattanooga
BioBlitz on Saturday, April 21 at 7 pm at the Tennessee Aquarium auditorium in
Chattanooga, TN. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Geoffrey E. Hill, the Auburn
University scientist that discovered the Ivory-billed Woodpecker in Florida.
We will also announce the species totals and view a video presentation of some
memorable moments from the BioBlitz. There will be copies of his new book
"Ivorybill Hunters: search for proof in a flooded wilderness forest" for sale
and to be signed by Dr. Hill after the presentation.
If you have any questions please call Kyle Waggener at the Chattanooga Nature
Center at (423) 821-1160 ext. 112.
Thanks,
Kyle Waggener
