[TN-Bird] american golden-plovers in putnam co.

This morning (6 April 06) I visited a small pond on Clemmons Rd. in
Putnam Co. and found 7 American Golden-Plovers, 1 Spotted Sandpiper, and
6 Pectoral Sandpipers. The Spottie set a new early spring arrival date
for the county, and the golden-plovers were the first with details to be
found in the county.
Nancy Layzer obtained some photos of the golden-plovers, one of which I
have placed at my website.
