While walking our dogs in our Hixson, TN neighborhood last night I heard a
Whip-poor-will singing from someone's back yard. At my study site at
Greenway Farms, also in Hixson, I heard a White-eyed Vireo and a Red-eyed
Vireo on Friday (3/31), and on Monday (4/3) I banded a Common Yellowthroat,
heard an Ovenbird singing, and saw 4 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. I also saw a
Red-headed Woodpecker.
