Birded Fort Negley Park (Davidson County) over lunch
Monday. Windy conditions had most of the birds on the
south side of the Fort.
Highlights include:
Brown Creeper ? 4, including one at eye-level on
Hackberry tree from top of the hill
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher ? 2, actively feeding in trees
Black-and-White Warbler ? 1, in trees on southeast
side of hill, viewed from the top of the hill
Still many Chipping, White-throated and Field
Sparrows, along with numerous Dark-eyed Juncos.
