[TN-Bird] FOS gnatcatcer, tanager and other/remaining winter birds

At 12:05 this afternoon I had my first Blue-grey Gnatcatcher of the year in the
yard, searching for goods within a climbing rose. Meanwhile, there where two
White-throated Sparrows under the holly and a couple of juncos on the lawn and
driveway.
At 2:30 this afternoon I had my first Scarlet Tanager in the front woods.
Earliest yard record is April 8, 2003.

At 4:00 this afternoon I had my first encounter with seed ticks (appx 75 at
once) while working the compost heap. I envy those of you in East and West TN
that don't (-;
