North of Tiptonville off Hwy. 78
While driving into town today I found 9 Cattle Egrets in a field near  Hwy 213. 
First of the season for me.Saw something today I had never seen. A juvenile 
Bald Eagle was sitting in a Cypress tree by the lake near the deck and while 
some of my guests &I watched a L. Tern was heard called and as we watched it 
mobbed the Eagle and was joined by three others. The Eagle didn't seem too 
concerned. It just sat there and looked at them. The day before a fish fell out 
of the sky onto the drive. I guess someone lost its lunch.  You never know what 
you will experience with our birds.
