This afternoon I heard my first Chimney Swift of the season as I was 
photographing birds in my front yard in Hermitage, TN, near the intersection of 
Highland view Dr. and Andrew Jackson Pkwy.  Also seen and heard were:

White-throated Sparrow- 1
Northern Cardinals-3
Song Sparrow- 1
Carolina Wren- 2
Common Grackles- 5
European Starlings- 3
Northern Mockingbird- 1
House Sparrows- 8
American robins- 5

Thorns Birds album.  If some of you have not tried digital photography of birds 
I highly recommend it!  The above mentioned site is free for all users and they 
let you post unlimited numbers of pictures.  My digital camera allows me to 
look through the viewfinder and zoom in on the bird and then take its picture.  
I have very little need for binoculars with this camera.  It is an Olympus 
D-580-Zoom and easily fits in my shirt pocket.
