Birders,
About the time I think I have seen everything a Cooper's can do, I am fooled.  
I have been watching a mature male sitting in my tree about 30' from my back 
door pretending to be an Anhinga!  He has been doing this for the last 45 
minutes.  There is a break in this rain front and he is indeed very wet.  About 
every five minutes he shakes his feathers and resumes the stance-wings fully 
out and tail spread.  It is a sight to behold.  You can hear a pin drop in my 
yard!  I see the female every day but only occasionally see the male.
