Lookout Mt. and Chattanooga Nature Center, Hamilton Co. Chattanooga, TN.  April 
5, 2005
 
During a field hike down from sunset rock at Lookout Mt. with a school group I 
had my fos of black and white warbler and black-throated green warbler.  We 
also saw, and heard, a broad-winged hawk fly over the Wildlife Wanderland at 
the Chattanooga Nature Center.  I have been hearing one for about a week now 
but this is the first time that I actually saw it.  I have been hearing 
Northern Parula's and Blue-gray gnatcatchers along the boardwalk since last 
Friday.  Sunday morning we had a Palm warbler in breeding plumage near the 
Squincy Bird cabin at Reflection Riding.
