Campbell County, TN N. of Knoxville
Two Broad-Winged Hawks were seen this morning (4-4-05) in Jacksboro, TN
soaring over the ridge off of my back deck. They were calling back and
forth.
My first for the Spring.
I also heard a Black-throated Green Warbler, as well as a
Yellow-Throated Warbler.
Around noon, on the way to a doctor appointment, a great surprise was a
lone
SANDHILL CRANE catching a thermal and slowly rising over Cove Lake State
Park, Campbell County, TN.
(Caryville)
Neat birds, with little effort!
