We just got our first spring Ruby-throated Hummer at 7:00 p.m. - a
mature male.  He obviously was here last year as he ignored the two
feeders we had out and sat on the deck rail where one was hanging last
year and waited for us to move a feeder over there.  He briefly flew
away while we did this and then returned quickly to drink and drink.
What a memory this little fellow has.  He's no Willie but he made us
laugh with joy over his return and he is beautiful.
