At Raser Farm, Lincoln Dr., Elizabethton, TN I saw my first Chimney Swifts of 
the season flying very high.

An Osprey was on the Watauga River just downstream of the first old iron 
bridge below Wilbur Dam.

Other spp. I noted in the area included:
Bufflehead (8 on the river near Raser Farm, ca 30 on Wilbur Lake)
Wood Duck (2 below old iron bridge)
Blue-winged Teal (5 Raser Farm, 7 iron bridge)
Green-winged Teal (3 iron bridge)
Wilson's Snipe (1 Elizabethton airport)
Barn Swallow (Elizabethton airport)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (Elizabethton airport)
Tree Swallow (Wilbur Lake)
Common Raven (1 Wilbur Lake)
Black-throated Green Warbler (1 Watauga Lake Overlook)
Savannah Sparrow (2 Elizabethton airport)
Swamp Sparrow (1 Elizabethton airport)
Rusty Blackbird (8 Elizabethton airport)

Butterflies seen included Eastern Tiger, Pipevine, and Black Swallowtails.
