[TN-Bird] After the NTOS field trip

Hello from the Charlotte Park section of West Nashville just a little east of
the old Cleece's Ferry boat landing.
When I arrived home after such a glorious field trip to Cheatham County with
the NTOS group, I saw some movement in the top of one of my trees and was
gratified to find two very patronizing worm-eating warblers who fed voraciously
and turned every which way, including upside down, to give me a fine view of
all
their field marks. They are the first "wormys" I've ever had at this house
thus giving me a new yard bird. One of my car mates on the field trip thought
he had heard a "wormy" for sure earlier today, but it was never confirmed, so
to him I say, get out there and look--they are here! Cardinals, chickadees,
cowbirds, red wings, grackles, house finches, titmice and yellow rumps were
also in my trees at the time. My lone white-throated sparrow was singing from
a
shrub in my neighbor's yard to the south of me.
Cheers & prayers and HAPPY EASTER!!!!!
