I saw my first Chimney Swifts (4+) for the year in my North Hills (N. 
Knoxville) neighborhood today (4/8).

Also, on Monday of this week (4/5) we saw a Lesser Scaup at the Kingston Steam 
Plant (Roane Co., TN) where we also saw the following species:

Great Blue Heron 
Canada Goose 
Mallard 
Blue-winged Teal
Osprey 
Red-shouldered Hawk
Northern Bobwhite
Killdeer
Wilson's Snipe 
Ring-billed Gull
Northern Flicker
Eastern Phoebe
Blue Jay
American Crow
Tree Swallow
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Barn Swallow
Carolina Chickadee
Carolina Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Eastern Bluebird
American Robin
Brown Thrasher
Field Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow
Song Sparrow 
Swamp Sparrow
Northern Cardinal
Red-winged Blackbird
Eastern Meadowlark
Brown-headed Cowbird
American Goldfinch
