Campbell County, Anderson County, Tn

On Friday, April 2 at Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery (Anderson County, TN) I
saw a couple Blue-Winged Teal, 7 Wilsons Snipe and 2 LEAST SANDPIPERS.
14 Savannah Sparrows were along the top dike. Tree Swallows and Cliff
Swallows were numerous and I also saw one BARN SWALLOW and a single
ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW

April 3 on Old High Hwy 63 in Campbell County, I heard Spring first BLACK
THROATED GREEN WARBLERS (3) 1 BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER
4 LA WATERTHRUSH- 6 YELLOW-THROATED WARBLERS along with
5 BLUE-HEADED VIREOS on this 8 mile road. There are probably more in, but
I only made a few quick stops.

4-4-04 Cove Lake State Park (Campbell County, TN) on Sunday afternoon
had a good number of various species of Swallows as well as the first
PURPLE MARTINS I have seen here this Spring. (8)
(Though it is the first time I have checked the lake in well over a week,
so they could have been present)
There were over 50 Tree Swallow, a couple or more BARN SWALLOWS, and
several Cliff Swallows.
Cove Lake is very unappealing right now as they have most of the park
torn up making it more handicap friendly... You can't even hear the birds
singing over the heavy equipment. Just wanted to let those of you know
that may be planning to bird there that it is not really very good right
now.
