Pied-billed Grebe (3)

Mallard nest with 10 eggs, 2nd nest with 2eggs appears abandoned, 3rd nest 
under construction

Blue-winged Teal (17)

Sharp-shinned Hawk

Coot (2), Virginia Rail (6+) and Sora (4+)  heard and fllushed in several 
locations

Snipe and Greater Yellowlegs (2)

Common Tern (2)

Eastern Kingbird 

White-eyed Vireo

Common Yellowthroat (6+)

Waded completely around marsh and up and down all inlets and channels, 4 hours, 
saw/heard no American Bittern, no herons/egrets except Great Blue, no rails 
except Virginia and Sora, no wrens except Carolina.  Water higher than usual, 
hip boots recommended.
