Spent a little time in Blount County Saturday, March 8.  At Poland Creek 
Recreation Area in among hundreds of ring billed gulls were 4 beautiful Lesser 
Scaup (3 mailes and a female) in close and diving.  
 
At Louisville Point Park saw an Osprey and 5 Pied Billed Grebes.  The grebes 
were difficult to see -- distant, bobbing up and down on the waves, looking 
through heavy snow flurries.
 
At Ish Creek another Pied Billed Grebe, more Ring billed gulls.  At all three 
locations, lots of Tree Swallows.
