[TN-Bird] weekend yard birds - Knox

Did some yard work on this nice weekend while keeping eyes and ears
open and managed a respectable 33 species around the house (west
Knox County) including the first Eastern Phoebe, Purple Martin,
Red-winged Blackbirds, and Common Grackle for the yard this year.
The Purple Martin provided a new early arrival date for the yard.

A pair of Eastern Bluebirds have been filling one of the nestboxes
since late February. We still have a pair of Red-breasted Nuthatches
coming to the feeders. Unfortunately we have NOT had Hermit Thrush,
Brown Creeper, or Hairy Woodpecker all winter which is unusual.
Between the late freeze and drought last year, the berry crop was
pretty much non-existent so I'm not too surprised by the lack of
Hermit Thrushes... still disappointing.
