I'm a relative newbie to birding and to this list, and when I first started
looking for
   birding
websites, I found the addy of a wonderful webpage
that would allow you to "plug" in info ...as to bird
shape, size, coloration, beak type, etc, and it would then
narrow down your search to good possibilities of identifying
the bird you "described." I didn't bookmark the site,
and now I can't seem to locate it. I have some field
guides on Tennessee birds, but this particular (and FREE)
search site was great and also very user friendly, especially
for newcomers to this hobby. If any of you has any idea what site
I'm talking about, please let me know. I'd really like to find it
again and bookmark it this time. I'm having some unusual
feathered friends to visit my feeders!

  Will SPRING EVER come???
