From the parking lot of Baptist Hospital at Turkey Creek, Sunday afternoon, 
March 4, from 1:05 to 1:40 p.m. I saw in the wetland below:

Canada Goose     2
Wood Duck     9
Gadwall     6
American Black Duck     1
Mallard     6
Northern Shoveler     3
Red-bellied Woodpecker     1
American Crow     3
Carolina Chickadee     1

Two gorgeous male Northern Shovelers with a lady friend; lone American Black 
Duck still consorting with the Mallards.


Brief stop at Pellissippi State Campus for 15 minutes around 2 p.m. - the 
male (probably Lesser) Scaup is still there.  3 Tree Swallows.  Flyover by 
adult Red-Tailed Hawk.  10 Canada Geese, a Killdeer, a Bluejay and a Rock 
Pigeon.
