Remember that show on Discovery Channel called Connections?
Last night (Tues, 28 Feb 2006) about 11:30PM, I was getting ready
for bed and doing the late-night critter-care chores. When
I took the cat litter outside to dump it, I noticed a nice
noctuid moth at the patio light. So I went back in and got
the camera. While taking pictures of the moth (still haven't
reviewed the pics to make an ID), I heard some Snow Geese
flying overhead. Couldn't see them but I was able to make
out at least 2 or 3 groups as they called while making their
way across the sky from south to north.
Yard bird #136.
