Ok, I'm stretching the boundaries of the yardlist with this
one, more of a neighborhood list.  As I drove out to work
this morning, I noticed a small falcon sitting in the top
of a snag at the entrance to our subdivision.  My rule of
thumb is 'If you see a falcon on a wire, it's a kestrel.
If you see one in a tree, take a better look.'  So with
a quick pull over and dragging out of the car-binocs,
it paid off for the second time this year with a MERLIN.

Yardbi-... I mean, neighborhood-bird #126. I think that's
about 16 more to go to catch Jim Campbell.  Also gives me a
clean sweep of the 3 common falcon species for TN on the
yard/neighborhood/subdivision list.

For the record, this is west Knox Co., TN, off of Middlebrook
Pike just west of Cedar Bluff Rd.
