Hello all,

The public meetings to address the future of North
Shore Road (a.k.a. "The Road To No Where") in Great
Smoky National Park (GSMNP) is tonight, March 1, and
Thursday night, March 3.  This issue has been ongoing
for many years.  The park is in the EIS process to
decide whether or not to continue building the entire
road, part of the road, or not build at all.  There
are several different options  for this proposed road
in what is often referred to as the most pristine
portion of GSMNP, located in Swain County, NC.  Come
have your voice heard:

March 1 6pm - 8:30, Knoxville, TN
      Marriott Knoxville, Mississippi Room
      500 Hill Ave SE

March 3 6 pm - 8:39, Gaitlinburg, TN
      Glenstone Lodge, Azalea Room
      504 Historic Nature Trail
