Susan Hollyday asked me to post
this for her.
Phillip Casteel
Nashville, TN
March 12, 2004 4:00 p.m. Cordell Hull Reservoir Mile 327 Cumberland River.
While boating, I observed two Golden Eagles on a high cliff next to the lake.
They were flying and perching in the trees on top of the cliffs.
March 13, 2004 2:00 p.m. Eagle PassTrail, Ashland City Bicentennial Trail
(old railroad). Bald Eagle nest with a mature bird in the nest and another one
nearby. Approx. 1 mile from trailhead, looking across embayment. Visible with
binoculars.
