Solway Park / Boat Launch
Anderson County

At least one of the HORNED GREBES that was present on Friday is still hanging 
around the Solway Boat Launching Area.  There are two coves along the north 
shore of the river between Solway Bridge and the boat launch.  Today's bird 
was observed in the cove immediately to the west of the boat launch parking 
area and toward the back of the cove near Edgemoor Rd.  Traveling from 
Knoxville toward Oak Ridge on Hwy 62 or Hwy 162 (Pellissippi Pkwy) will take 
you across Solway Bridge.  Turn right on Edgemoor Rd immediately after 
crossing the bridge.  The Solway Boat Launch will be the first turn to your 
right.
