[TN-Bird] NTOS Field Trip
- From: Gary Casey <gcasey2@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Eleven members of NTOS participated in today's field trip
to Maury County. Our first stop, Monsanto Ponds, was high-
lighted by four swallow species and a pair of nest building
Eastern Phoebes.
At stop two, Williamsport Lakes, we viewed a nesting Bald
Eagle and enjoyed the aerial show of a wheeling, spinning
group of Bonaparte's Gulls.
Our group split at this point, part returning to Nashville
via Natchez Trace Parkway to look for Wild Turkeys. The rest
visited Arrow Lake before heading homeward.
Species total for the day was an even fifty.
