     Jimi and I spotted  3 Ross's Geese at Cove Lake on the way home from
church today, and upon checking my email saw that Ron Hoff had been to
Cove Lake this morning birding and already posted same!!   Go Ron.
     I returned after lunch to try to photograph them, and could not
locate any geese at all. At apx 5:00 I returned to the park to find them
feeding with the Canada Geese  near the restaurant.  In the next hour I
was able to take photographs, many of them rather  close up. I do not
believe these were the Ross's that were seen at Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery
due to their calmer nature. They were much more approachable than those
at Eagle Bend, even within 50 feet. Several pictures were of the Ross and
2 Blue Morph Snow Geese together. (Sorry they are not digital, but I will
scan them tomorrow if anyone wants to see them email me privately)
    I still have a Fox Sparrow at my feeders in Jacksboro, TN .
