At 3:00 P.M. this afternoon we observed several large rafts of
ducks from the TWRA boat ramp located on State Highway 375
just north of the dam.  Rafts were made up of Ring-necked Ducks,
Gadwall, Redheads, Lesser Scaup, and American Wigeon.  Also seen from
the boat ramp were Hooded Mergansers, Common Goldeneye, Common Loon,
Horned Grebe, and Pied-billed Grebe.
Also present were thousands of Ring-billed Gulls.
