A couple of years ago,  I was in an enfeebled state while, coincidentally,
a squabble between the University and the county resulted in a road-killed
deer carcass going unremoved from my property border.   Can you imagine the
macabre mixture of pain and pleaure I went through as Turkey vultures
hopped around my yard--just outside my  kitchen window?
