[tn-bird] dead birds

Dean,
That sounds too good to be true.
Besides, I don't believe there is any evidense of direct
bird-to-human transmittal. There needs to be an insect vector. And
most viruses don't survive long in a dead organism.
It's more likely that a person will get hit by lightening in December
than catch West Nile, IMHO.
As I said before, I took a picture, but all I had was my lousy
disposable camera, and the birds were about 25 feet away. If someone
with a real camera were to stop by and get pics, it might help a lot.
And if everyone were to just slow down and scowl at the folks it
might deter a similar event next year. I wouldn't recommend any
unpleasantries between a birder and the residents, though. I'd hate
to see a TN-birder hanging next to the jays!
