Nancy - I don't know what would be the easiest way to get to Lexington
from where you are, but that's the general area you need to aim for. (It
looks like US45 to US 62 might work) 

US 62 dies at KY 60 just west of Lexington. Take KY60 to KY4, then
follow the signs for I75. Take I -75 north to Georgetown, then take US
62 east to US 27. Turn north on US 27. 

Mark Bennett's directions are good, but don't try the alternative of
going to Williamstown - it's much longer. Phillip and I tried it last
weekend and it's much faster to go the 62-27 route. We went to
Williamstown getting there, but came back the other way. 

Look for a sign for for New Hope Baptist Church on the right - that's
Bishop Ridge Road. There's a telephone pole at that intersection that he
spends a lot of time on, as well as the various other spots in the area
that others have mentioned.
