The Snowy Owl is located almost directly on US 27, just north of the
Harrison/Pendleton County Line.  This is located north of Lexington and
south of Cincinnati, OH.  It is on the KY DeLorme Atlas page 27, quadrant
E-7.

There are at least 2 logical ways to cut over from I-75, east to US 27.

One is to take US 62 to Cynthiana, then take US 27 north.  Follow US 27
north to the Harrison/Pendleton County Line.  Proceed 2 to 4 miles past the
county line looking for Bishop Ridge Road to the right.  Turn right here and
look north.  About 200 yards east of US 27 is Old LLL Loop HWY to the left.
This blacktop roughly parallels US 27.  The bird has mostly been found in
the open field and/or yards between US 27 on the west, Old LLL Loop HWY on
the east, and Bishop Ridge Road on the south.

An alternate route to get there would be to follow I-75 to Williamstown.
Get off at the Williamstown exit on KY 30 and follow signs into
Williamstown.  In Williamstown, pick up KY 22 east at take this to US 27.
Turn right on US 27 (south) and follow through Falmouth and past the
"community" of Four Oaks.  Then look for Bishop Ridge Road on the Left.

The second route is longer, but has more interstate driving.  Hope this
helps anyone who is considering chasing the Owl.  It was observed today,
03.09.2002.
