I observed an adult Bald Eagle today ( Tues. March 5) at 3:40 at Cove
Lake St. Pk. (Caryville) Campbell County.  TN.  Though the park was
closed, I pulled off on the side by the bridge to check out the dark form
I saw as I glanced over the lake while driving by.  The eagle was on the
ground on the point of a spit of land that runs into the lake about
mid-way. Also present were nervous Coot, 49 Gadwall and 17 Hooded
Mergansers.
FYI- The park should be open  today. Its closed on Mondays and Tues.
