[TN-Bird] Late report: Golden Eagle, Lewis County 12/31/07

On 12/31/07, we had a report from some travelers passing through that  
they had seen and photographed a Golden Eagle at Fall Hollow Village  
in Lewis County, at the junction of US 412 and the Natchez Trace  
Parkway in the eastern portion of the county.  They finally were able  
to e-mail the photos to the local newspaper today, and they indeed do  
show an undenable sub-adult Golden Eagle soaring overhead.

Interestingly, I had another "general public" report of a Golden  
Eagle not far from my place on the other side of Lewis County within  
the last few days.  I don't know the expertise of the fellow who  
reported it, but I will remain especially on the alert for the rest  
of the winter!

I'll investigate whether I can get permission to post the photos and/ 
or the names of the observers.
