To TN-BIRDers:
Sorry about the lack of an attachment to my previous message regarding Bobby
Harrison's invitation to his fund-raising gala. Thanks for letting me know.
(I had messages from as far away as Afghanistan!)
Here is the invitation intact.

Introducing the
Ivory-billed Woodpecker Foundation
Hope of the Ivory-Bill!
Because
â??Nature gives very few second chances,
this is one of them.â??
Carter Roberts, President, World Wildlife Fund
On February 27, 2004, a miracle happened. On that date two qualified
searchers, Bobby Harrison, from Huntsville, Alabama and Tim Gallagher, from
Ithaca, New York, rediscovered the magnificent ivory-billed woodpecker in
the Big
Woods of Eastern Arkansas. Once thought to be extinct, the ivory-bill's last
confirmed sighting in the United States was over 60 years ago. Bobby and
Tim's own quest culminated in this miraculous find after spending more than 30
years of researching and following leads. It has been hailed by
ornithologists, birders, conservation organizations and the media as the
biggest Victory
for Nature in centuries!
In order to continue the work and involve others in various aspects of his
continues efforts, Bobby Harrison has established the Ivory-billed Woodpecker
Foundation, a 501(c)-3 nonprofit organization.
Mission Statement
