Hey Jeff,
The photos, although representative of the birds I saw on that particular field 
trip, I may have take on another day.  For instance, although I saw a bunch of 
cormorants on that trip (and every trip to the S. Fork), I think that 
particular photo was taken in April.  The cormorants do indeed nest here.

  Noticed the DC Cormorants already have there breeding plumes in place in the 
photo taken on the South Fork Holston River. Seems very early, do they breed 
there?
