[TN-Bird] Eastern Screech-Owl

Hi,
Tonight as my mom and I were walking down the driveway at about 8:00, I
heard the tremolo call of an Eastern Screech Owl. We had set up a house
right in the area of were it was calling. Do you think it found the house
and was letting all the other owls in the area now that it was his? If he
did find the house, how will I now if he is sing it? I have seen pictures
of screech owls peaking out of the hole, but screech owls are like 8
inches long and the hole is 11 inches high.
Thanks,
David Hollie
