Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Nashville, Davidson Co., TN

A walk around Radnor Lake this morning produced a few species of
ducks, but numbers were rather low. Most of the water birds
were at the east end of the lake with 3 CANVASBACKs being the best
of the bunch. I also saw several expected wintering land birds.
Highlights include:
Water birds:
Pied billed Grebe 2
Mallard 2
Gadwall 34
Canvasback 3
Ring-necked Duck 77
Lesser Scaup 4
Land birds:
Brown Creeper 1
Winter Wren 1
Eastern Bluebird 7
Hermit Thrush 2
Swamp Sparrow 3
