Sunday afternoon (1 Feb), my wife Amber witnessed some obscene behavior
long before the Superbowl... a little "proof-of-breeding" Mourning Dove
copulation going on in the back yard.  Looks like the owls aren't the
only ones getting an early start around here.  

We've had chickadees and timice checking out the nest boxes and I saw
a White-breasted Nuthatch disappear into a tree-hole last week.
