Birders,
 
I have had 8 to 10 Purple Finches (evenly divided males/females) at my 
sunflower feeder (elev. 931 ft.) for about two weeks now.   Sometimes I get a 
male PF sitting near a male House Finch.  A great opportunity for comparison.

It is an accidental winter resident.
