FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] White-wing Scoter still present

The White-winged Scoter first reported by Judy Newsome on 1/30/04, and again 
1/31/04 by Kevin Calhoon was still present. The bird is in Chickamauga Lake at 
the dam, right at dam. When  I arrived at about 1100 the bird was not visible, 
a lite rain was falling so I was birding from my truck. The bird swan into veiw 
as it moved away from the dam. She is beautiful ! I don't think I have had a 
better veiw of a White-winged Scoter than I had today.
At the railroad bridge below the dam I saw 2 Peregrine Falcons. One sitting on 
the wire between the two towers and one sitting on the south tower.
