A Red Shouldered Hawk was observed in the field area between S. Pointe Road and 
Brookstone Drive off Bennett Road in SW Putnam County for about an hour at 2p 
2/1/2004.  Appeared to be looking for prey in the open field.  A really 
beautiful hawk.  Heard but could not locate a flight (size unknown) of Sand 
Hill Cranes direction unkown also in the same area as above.
