[TN-Bird] Redheads still at Wilbur
- From: James Brooks <comeback@xxxxxxxx>

Carter County
The 5 Redheads (3 male, 2 female) were still at Wilbur Lake Sunday
morning. I also counted 27 Ring-necked Ducks and the usual 100 or so
Buffleheads.
Had a flyover of Sharp-shinned Hawk while driving through Elizabethton,
or a flap-and-glide-over, actually.
Publisher Art Powers of the Johnson City Press left word he wants to
meet with me Monday about getting the paper involved in the prizes for
our several categories:
1. best yard list
2. best Washington County list
3. best East Tennessee list (Johnson, Carter, Sullivan, Washington,
Unicoi, Greene and Hawkins Counties).
4. best state list be a resident in the above area.
5. best state list by someone without a driver's license (young or old).
This would be a good time for a progress report for January. Either
e-mail your totals to me directly or post to the list.
We already have two $25 gift certificates from Mize in the prize fund.
