[tn-bird] Re: Specialty License Plates

Well I don't see anything wrong with it. It's obvious to anyone
living near Great Smoky Mountains National Park that the Tennessee
Highway Fund is severely lacking in funds. I mean we need more roads
around here. Personally I think they should take money from the
orange and purple Smokies NHA plate to help fund that neat sounding
road that NC Senator Jesse Helms wants to build through the park.

Then they should make the Foothills Parkway 5 lanes, like they did in
Townsend.

I think a superhighway would be a good replacement for Cherohala
Skyway.

In fact, if they closed all the state parks ALL week, instead of just
that wimpy Mon-Tue thing, they could fund a lot more bridges and dams
in this state. That would provide jobs and money, right?

Just a few thoughts,

Signed,
Govorner Sundquist.

(I sure hope you guys like sarcasm)

Charlie
