[tn-bird] Cooper's

Apparently, while I was away in Memphis getting my heart plumbing unstopped ( 3
bypasses), my immature Cooper's Hawk has decided to put on some new clothing
for the breeding season. He/she is much darker now and has a mostly adult set
of breast feathers. The change seems rather sudden for only 1-1/2 weeks or so
although there was some darkening before we left for Memphis. Is this rapid of
a change normal or has another bird moved in to the area. Behavior and
preferred roosting places are exactly the same.
