Hey Mike,
Me, Allan Trently, David Trently, Rob Biller, and Penny all went to Burkes
Garden on 1-26-02 and we had 2 Golden Eagles (1 adult and 1 imm.), 2-3
Roughlegged Hawks, 1-2 Merlins (females about 5 miles apart and slightly
diff. plumages), 1 imm. Northern Harrier, lots of Horned Larks, Ravens, and
Red-headed Woodpeckers were all of our best birds. It was a great trip and
we had great looks at every bird we saw it couldn't have been a lot better
without just being unbelievable anyway. Good luck, see something good. I
hope you can make it to Reelfoot in a couple of weeks.
Anthony Whitted
Knoxville, TN.
